Avaya IP Office 10 to Sunset in June —
What You Need to Know
Avaya has announced its official End of Sale (EOS) date for its IP Office release R10.1 system, effective June 8, 2020. This means that, for customers who are holding licenses for IP Office, you will need to consider your options to ensure you have the latest IP Office release to suit your needs. Sales of IP Office Release R10.1 will sunset on June 8, 2020.
All ADI licenses for earlier releases, such as R9.1, R9, R8, R7, R6, will also no longer be available for purchase, or supported, after that date. You also will not be able to add additional R10.1 licenses to your system, in the event of expansion.
What Do I Risk if I Don’t Upgrade?
Since Avaya will no longer provide support for issues that arise from earlier releases, you won’t be able to access any additional security patches, bug fixes, or other software assistance. Though CTI may be able to provide a basic level of maintenance and troubleshooting, we do not recommend any approach which doesn’t involve deploying an upgrade.
