Technical Services Engineer
(for customer installations)
The Technical Services Engineer reports to the Director of Technical Services. This is a technical field service position.
The responsibilities include:
Install Windows-based computer systems, servers, Cisco, Sonicwall and AdTran data networking equipment, Wireless infrastructure and IP Telephony applications.
Implement and support Cisco and Adtran based WAN applications.
Assist Project Managers in multi-location IP Voice and Data solutions.
Facilitate technical problem resolution at all levels.
Troubleshoot existing hardware and software remotely or at customer sites.
Close out service tickets and report to Operations Department upon completion of a task at the customer site.
Minimum of 3 years applied experience with specific expertise in Microsoft software and/or Cisco switches and routers and IP Telephony, Wireless LAN/WAN equipment
MCP / MCSE or CCNA/CCNP.
Candidate must possess effective written and verbal skills and the ability to implement sound customer service techniques.
Candidate must have the ability to handle problem resolution of Windows servers, desktop systems, data networking equipment and IP Telephony.
Candidate must be proactive and maintain a high level of focus on response time, solutions and customer satisfaction.
